01. Fine Art

From an Andy Warhol soup can to a bakery window full of Wayne Thiebaud's vibrant cakes, there's something wonderfully unpretentious, yet quietly subversive about Pop Art — with its ability to elevate mundane objects to museum-worthy status. Above all, the images are inherently approachable. It's art that doesn't take itself all that seriously.

The examples in the gallery below are suggestions; a starting point. If you see other works on this site that interest you, by all means let's discuss.

BLOCK LETTERS
Inspired by old-fashioned wooden toy blocks, these one-of-a-kind artworks are a wonderful addition to a child's room. Or a grownup's room, for that matter. Any alphabet letter can be painted to match a first or last initial. Two or more separate "blocks" which spell out a full monogram create a personalized, mini art gallery.
The work shown here was painted on a 12 x 12 inch wood panel using the encaustic wax method. The approximate price is $300, which includes U.S. shipping. Larger sizes can certainly be achieved.

02. Illustrations

The gallery below showcases several of the illustration styles I've developed throughout my 30+ years as a professional illustrator, graphic designer and advertising creative director. More examples are here. Besides creating a whole bunch of art over the years, I've also commissioned many pieces too. So I fully appreciate the importance of clear, concise communications, as well as meeting deadlines and staying on budget.
